Earlier this month, my friend and Modern Woodworkers Association Toledo Chapter member David Picciuto published a video on making cactus planters. He titled it "How To Make Cactus (or Succulent) Planters."

My finished planters (and my miter saw).

Seeing how nice Davids planters looked, I decided I wanted to lean how and watched. After seeing the simple yet beautiful method David used, I decided I should make some for my wife for Mothers Day. I headed out to the shop, pulled together man of the fancy scraps Steve Taylor had given me before his departure for Germany and got to work making the planters.
